Video Tutorial: Broadcast Setup For First Time Users
Step One - Verify Phone Number
Once logged in to your DialMyCalls account, click on the "My Account" icon in the top-right corner of your screen and then click "Verified Phone Numbers / Caller IDs". From there, type in the nickname for the Caller ID you will use to send out voice broadcasts and then enter the 10-digit number you'd like to use. *Our system will call you immediately with a verification code, you must be able to answer the phone to verify a number on your account.
Step Two - Add Contact(s)
Click on the "Contacts" tab in your account and you will have three options to add contacts to your account: "Manually Add", "Quick Add", or "Upload List" - select the option you'd like to use to add your contact(s) to DialMyCalls.
Step Three - Create Recording(s)
Click on the "Recordings" tab and you will have four options to create a recording to send out to your contacts: "Record Message", "Upload File", "Text-2-Speech", or "Phone-In System". The most popular option to create a recording is the first option, recording a message over the phone.
Step Four - New Broadcast
Click on "New Broadcast" to begin the process of sending out your voice, text and/or email broadcast.
Step Five - Select Type of Broadcast
Select the type of broadcast that you would like to send out to your contact(s). For this tutorial we are sending a voice, text message, and email broadcast.
Step Six - Select Contact(s)
Select which number(s) you'd like your broadcast to be sent to - click "Next" to continue setting up your broadcast.
Step Seven - Select Caller ID
From the drop-down menu, select the verified phone number to use for your Caller ID on the voice broadcast. You have the ability to add additional features to your call but this is completely optional - click "Next" to continue.
Step Eight - Choose Recording
Select a recording in your account to send out as a voice broadcast to your contact(s) and click "Next".
Step Nine - Create Text Message
Select the vanity number for your text message broadcast, type out the text message to send to your contact(s) and click "Next".
Step Ten - Create Email Message
Type out the email message to send to your contacts with email addresses attached to their phone numbers and then click "Next" once done.
Step Eleven - Send Broadcast
You have the option to send your broadcast immediately, schedule it for a later date and time, or set up a recurring broadcast. For this tutorial we will send the broadcast immediately by selecting "Send Now" - click "Next" when you are done.
Step Twelve - Confirm Broadcast
Confirm the information for your broadcast is correct and then click "Send Broadcast Now" to send it to the contact(s) you selected.
Step Thirteen - Detailed Broadcast Report
Once your broadcast is complete you will see a detailed broadcast report for your voice broadcast, text broadcast and/or email broadcast. Click on the "Reports" tab in your account and then click on the name of your broadcast to review the results.
