DTMF
The technical term is better known as Dual-tone multi-frequency signaling and the version used in push-button telephones is more commonly known as Touch-Tone.
DialMyCalls utilizes DTMF throughout the site as any time you record a message using the “Touch-Tone Phone” option and are asked to “Press 1,” the ability for the system to recognize your keystroke is all thanks to DTMF. Basically, it allows our system to interpret keystrokes by customers or their call recipients and performs the associated action such as opting out, registering a polling response or being transferred so that a message may be left.
